Watchmen on the Wall 2018 was a smashing success! 21 Pastors and ministry leaders from South Dakota along with Dave Jagemann from WY and Paul Aladin from ND made their way to Washington DC for the Family Research Council’s annual Pastors briefing. The conference started off with a tour of the Museum of the Bible and a Spiritual Heritage Tour of the US Capitol Building; then Thursday morning the presentations began. As always, Family Research Council put together an incredible line-up of presenters, including Josh McDowell, Todd Starnes, the Benham Brothers, Michele Bachmann, Kay Arthur, Jim Garlow, VP Mike Pence and many more!

The theme for this year’s event was “While it is day,” John 9:4. Because of the current administration’s position on things like religious liberty and the sanctity of life, we as Christians have been given a window of time to make as much progress as possible in taking back our freedoms and liberties, as well as pushing back in the areas the enemy has made progress. One word that became a common challenge throughout the conference was unity. Unity in the church, as well as unity within the body of Christ as a whole. This is the key if we want to have lasting success!

Stay tuned for personal stories from the South Dakota attendees!
