Join us for a presentation on critical race theory, action civics, and the new SD social studies standards. Representative Sue Peterson will be taking a deep-dive into:
-Critical race theory: A brief explanation of what it is and a discussion of how we as Christians should respond to the issue.
-Action civics: The difference between teaching civics to students in the traditional manner and teaching action civics in the classroom.
-SD social studies standards: An analysis of the new standards and advice for how to express support or opposition to them.
